The Synodal Liturgical Music Commission (ROCOR) now has a donate button, making it easier than ever to support our future ROCM conferences and other projects sponsored by the Commission!

Students were immersed in courses in Typicon, choir conducting, voice, Church Slavonic, church music history, liturgical performance practice, music theory, and sight-singing: “among the hardest but most rewarding two weeks” of their lives.

We are happy to announce that the Fourth Pan-European Orthodox Liturgical Music Conference will take place from 26 to 29 January 2023 in London. The topic is “S.V. Rachmaninoff and Sacred Music (to the 150th anniversary of the composer)”.

On Thursday evening, October 21, over 60 singers ‒ men, women, teens, and children; clergy, laity, and monastics ‒ gathered under the eaves of St. Tikhon Church in Blountville, TN for an English-language Liturgical Music Symposium held in cooperation with the Synodal School of Liturgical Music. Participants from ROCOR, the OCA, and the Antiochian Archdiocese attended from parishes
