Overview – Tuition and Payment Options
Registration for the 35th annual session will open in January 2025
For the SSLM Core Curriculum
For the 2024 session, the $1550 covers accommodations on the territory of the Novo Diveyevo Convent itself. Those wishing to stay at the Simply Suites hotel (a five minute walk from the convent) may do so at an additional cost – please contact Irina du Quenoy at irinaduquenoy@gmail.com for details.
TUITION AND FEES (COMMUTER – Residents of New York Metro Area only):
$975 – includes full load of classes plus three meals a day.
$775 – includes full load of classes, without meals.
Contact us for pricing if you would like to commute without taking the full load of classes (price can be worked out depending on the number of classes plus meal plan, on an individual basis).
Tuition includes 1 private voice lesson per week. For Conducting students, it also includes 1 private conducting lesson per week (in addition to group conducting lessons). Depending on the number of students enrolled, additional private lessons in both conducting and singing may be possible, for an additional $35 per private lesson.

PAYMENT OPTIONS:
Tuition may be paid via cash upon arrival, check, money order, bank transfer (either direct or Zelle) or through PayPal, and is due no later than the first day of the session, July 14, 2024.
Deposit: Please note that due to high demand, we now ask for a nonrefundable deposit of $100 upon registration which will count toward overall tuition. Your online payment of the deposit will complete your registration.

For Zelle: please send funds to synodalschool@gmail.com. Note that Zelle does not add any credit card processing fee.
For PayPal: Please let us know at irinaduquenoy@gmail.com if you wish to pay via PayPal and we will send you an invoice from our PayPal account within 24 hours of the request (please note that this option includes a 3% service fee).
Checks or money orders should be made payable to Synodal School of Liturgical Music Limited, and may be either paid in person at Novo Diveevo or mailed to the school administration at the following address: (if sending by mail, please make sure to postmark no later than June 1 in order to allow the office to receive it in time for the session):

PARISH DISCOUNT AND SCHOLARSHIP OPPORTUNITIES
If students are sponsored and paid for by their parish, a discount of $100 is offered to the parish. In that case, payment should be made by parish check. For those students not taking the full course load, a discount is available, to be determined by the number of classes taken and by whether or not the student requires room and board. Limited scholarship funding is available to offset tuition costs, to be allocated on a first-come, first-serve basis. Please contact Irina du Quenoy at irinaduquenoy@gmail.com for more details.
APPLICATION DEADLINE: June 15, 2024. We strongly suggest registering earlier, to allow us to maximally plan ahead in terms of any program adjustments that may need to be made due to continuing Covid concerns.
NOTE: Registration after the deadline is based on availability of space.
Registration and Fees for the Pastoral Bridge Program
Tuition: $150 per class taken (normally this would be three levels of Liturgics and one or more level of Church Slavonic)
Room and Board: $750. Individual voice lessons: $35 each.

NB: Discounts possible if you are interested in taking other classes in addition to the Pastoral Bridge curriculum – contact us for details.

Please note our refund policy: With the exception of the deposit, payment is fully refundable up until the first day of the annual summer session. In the event the student leaves the program for any reason after it has started, the refund is pro-rated according to the number of days the student spent at SSLM.
