The Summer 2023 session of the Synodal School of Liturgical Music will be held at Novo-Diveevo Convent in Nanuet, NY and Holy Virgin Protection Church in Nyack, NY.
Accommodations
Lodging for the conference is arranged at Sonesta Simply Suites Nanuet, or at Novo-Diveevo Monastery and is included in the registration fee. The hotel is about six miles from Holy Virgin Protection Church, and within walking distance of the monastery. All meals are included – all except the closing banquet will be served at Novo Diveevo. Friday night dinner is on your own – a great opportunity to explore local dining options.
Directions from Sonesta Simply Suites to Novo Diveevo Convent
- When you walk out of your hotel, make a left onto the street (Overlook Blvd.).
- When you get to the intersection, turn right onto New Clarkstown Rd.
- At the next intersection, make a right onto Smith Rd.
- Running along this road is a stone wall that borders the convent. At the first break in the wall is the main entrance to the convent. Please refer to the convent map below for more details.
