The program leads to three possible certificates, with the requirements designed to reflect individual students\u2019 interests and abilities: (1) Singer (\u041f\u0435\u0432\u0447\u0438\u0439) (2) Singer-Precentor (\u041f\u0435\u0432\u0447\u0438\u0439-\u041f\u0441\u0430\u043b\u043e\u043c\u0449\u0438\u043a) (3) Conductor-Precentor (\u0420\u0435\u0433\u0435\u043d\u0442-\u041f\u0441\u0430\u043b\u043e\u043c\u0449\u0438\u043a).<\/p>\n<p>The expectation is that all students will enter the program on track for certification as \u201c\u041f\u0435\u0432\u0447\u0438\u0439\/Singer.\u201d After the completion of the Year I summer session, students will be, in a preliminary fashion, placed in one of the three tracks, depending on their personal goals, parish circumstances, as well as level of musical preparation. The point is not to differentiate one track as \u201cbetter\u201d\/\u201dmore prestigious\u201d than the rest, but rather to match the needs\/abilities of the student with the appropriate pedagogical approach. Placement will include a consideration of the student\u2019s performance during the Year I summer session as well as an interview by faculty\/administration with the student to ascertain goals\/circumstances.
