In May 2020 SSLM was granted 501(c)3 status.<\/p><p class=\"\">In 2021, the ROCOR Synod blessed the school&#8217;s move from Holy Trinity Monastery to the Novo Diveevo Convent in Nanuet, NY.<\/p><p class=\"\"><strong>The school\u2019s activities consist of:<\/strong><\/p><ul data-rte-list=\"default\"><li><p class=\"\">Annual Summer Classes. These include the <a href=\"https:\/\/synodalschool.com\/2023\/core-program\">Core Program<\/a> leading to certification in either liturgical conducting or singing, a <a href=\"https:\/\/synodalschool.com\/2023\/pastoral-bridge-program-1\">Pastoral Bridge<\/a> program open to students of the Pastoral School of the Diocese of Chicago and Mid-America (ROCOR), and an <a href=\"https:\/\/synodalschool.com\/2023\/individual-study-plan\">Individual Study<\/a> program in which students not wishing to obtain certification may study at the school a la carte.<\/p><\/li><li><p class=\"gmail-\">Online Instruction throughout the year for students of the Core Program. Currently, we offer\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/synodalschool.com\/2023\/online-education\">online learning\u00a0<\/a>support in Typicon, Church Slavonic for English Speakers, and Sight-Singing. While some of the online instruction is meant exclusively for students enrolled in the Core Program, some opportunities are available a la carte for those who do not wish at present to enroll in the full program.<\/p><\/li><li><p class=\"gmail-\">Parish Outreach activities. These are\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/synodalschool.com\/2023\/bootcamps\">workshops<\/a>\u00a0on topics related to Russian Orthodox liturgical singing, offered throughout the year on the parish level on an ad hoc basis,\u00a0addressing the needs of the local parish. Please contact us at <a href=\"mailto:synodalschool@gmail.com\">synodalschool@gmail.com<\/a> if interested in bringing a team of our faculty to your parish to work with your choir.<\/p><\/li><li>Continuing Education: The school runs occasional workshops related to church music topics for those interested in\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/synodalschool.com\/2023\/programs\/continuing-education\/\">furthering their knowledge<\/a>\u00a0in this area. As of 2021, these workshops are held occasionally at Novo Diveevo<\/li><\/ul>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section elementor-inner-section
